Summary

Next Station works without an account. We don't collect, sell or share your personal data. Everything you save stays on your phone.

Location

If you allow it, the app uses your phone's location while you're using it to show you on the map, find nearby stations and plan trips from where you are. Your location is processed only on your phone and is never sent to us or stored on a server. The app doesn't use location in the background.

Saved places and history

Home, Work, saved places, saved routes, recent searches and settings are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them.

Network requests

When you're online the app downloads map tiles from OpenFreeMap. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and the map area requested, under its own privacy policy. If live alerts or timetable updates are enabled, the app reads them from our server without sending any personal data.

Other apps

When you tap "Buy ticket", "Auto or cab" or "Walk", the app opens another app (such as RailOne, Mumbai One, Uber or Google Maps). What you do there is covered by that app's privacy policy.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. If you join the launch waitlist we store your email address and the time you joined, send one email when the app launches, and then delete the list. Aggregate, cookie-free visit counts come from Vercel Web Analytics.

Children

Next Station is a general transit app and isn't directed at children under 13.
