Boilerplate

Next Station is a free Android app that plans door-to-door trips across Mumbai's local trains, metro lines, BEST buses and autos — entirely offline, with approximate fares for every option, no sign-up and no ads. It is built in Mumbai by Aditya Jadhav.

Next Station carries the suburban timetable, the metro lines, BEST routes and a 26,000-place gazetteer on the phone, so planning, place search and next-train times keep working on a packed platform, in a Metro Line 3 tunnel or in a dead zone. A routing engine on the device combines Western, Central and Harbour locals, Metro Lines 1, 2A, 3 and 7, Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1, BEST buses, walking and autos, and shows the options side by side as Recommended, Fastest, Cheapest, Least walking and Fewest changes, each with a fare range. When a ticket is needed it opens RailOne or Mumbai One. Location and saved places never leave the phone.

The mark is the white "N" route (train, road, bus and pin) with the word "Station" on a red tile. Use it unaltered, on a plain background, with clear space of at least a quarter of its width. Don't recolour it or add effects. The Android launcher icon is the same artwork on a full-bleed red square (the phone's launcher rounds it).
